3-Alarm Fire Destroys Building In San Leandro

There were no injuries reported from the fire.

SAN LEANDRO, CA — Alameda County Firefighters remain at the scene of a 3-alarm fire in San Leandro Saturday morning, some 12 hours after flames were first reported. As the photo above shows, there is little left following the intense fire.

The blaze in a commercial building with shops and restaurants at Georgia Way and East 14th Street was first reported around 8 p.m. Friday night. Among the businesses was an upholstery shop, which provided plenty of fuel for the fire.

No injuries have been reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
