Last night in New York City, the stars came out to dazzle on the red carpet for a very special cause. The Clooney Foundation For Justice, founded by George Clooney and wife Amal, hosted their first ever Albie Awards, honouring people who fight for justice in the world.
Bridgerton darling Phoebe Dynevor was in attendance, looking truly angelic. She wore a custom Louis Vuitton gown, styled by Nicky Yates, and *wow* is all we can say. It's cut from fluid silk-satin the colour of champagne, and it drapes across the body with effortless old-Hollywood elegance. It features a plunging v-neck, three-quarter length bell sleeves, and - here's the best part - it's totally backless. Stunning.
She paired the floor-sweeping gown with metallic heeled sandals, a matching clutch, and a black manicure. Diamond earrings framed her face, highlighted by a sleek updo with a centre parting.
We love the metallic trim, and how the double-layered fabric hangs just right. It's the perfect look: impactful, without doing too much.
As Cher would say, "Can I hear a little commotion for the dress?"
Big designers like Bottega Veneta and Off-White sent silky cream gowns down their catwalks recently, and come party season, we expect this to be a majorly trending look. If you love Phoebe's dress but aren't up for the designer price tag, check out Ghost London. They have dozens of beautiful silk and satin styles under £200, for weddings, holiday parties, and black tie events.
