What The Vogue Editors Are Buying In The Cyber Monday Sales
It’s fair to say that the Vogue editors are picky when it comes to shopping – in the best way possible, of course. Being exposed to newness on a daily basis has only cemented our belief that a considered shopper is a more stylish shopper – and this could not be truer when it comes to Cyber Monday sale shopping. So whether you’re looking for a new addition to your home, a winter wardrobe staple or a fresh lipstick shade, we say now is the time to be making those time-tested, quality investments.
So what are team Vogue actually buying this Cyber Monday? Naturally, there is a good selection of fashion staples – be it Naomi Smart’s checked Raey shacket or Laura Ingham’s boxy Frankie Shop blazer – but there are plenty of other categories thrown into the mix, too. For example, associate director of audience development, Alyson, swears by JS Health’s supplements for a winter health boost, meanwhile senior commerce writer, Joy, is eyeing up 111Skin’s complexion-perfecting sheet masks.

I’ve had my eye on this Proenza Schouler tie-dye top for months now, and so I was pretty excited when I saw it in the Net-a-Porter sale. It’s the perfect layering piece for winter and will look great under everything from white shirts to dresses. 111Skin also does the best sheet masks, in my humble opinion, but it can be on the pricier side, so I always keep an eye out for the brand in the seasonal sales. This overnight mask has gone straight in my basket.

I’ve always been drawn to an easy, throw-on-and-go jacket that will pair nicely with jeans and a white T-shirt, and thanks to Kate Moss's viral Bottega Veneta SS23 runway look, it’s looking like it’s been cemented as the outfit style equation of the season. A Coperni bag has been on my wishlist for a couple of years but I’ve been waiting for it in the sales. Now is the time to strike!

Nothing makes me happier than the prospect of the winter wardrobe and enveloping myself in a cosy roll-neck for months on end. Missoni’s turtleneck comes with a hint of colour for brightening up dark days and is lightweight enough for layering under a suit jacket or black coat.
Always on the lookout for a basic with a twist, I’ve fallen for Maria ’s single hoop which packs a lot of good into a small package. Not only is the gold decorated with a catch-the-light milgrain finish, it’s adorned with pearls and a single black diamond briolette. Unique enough to stand out, chic enough to wear everyday.
Alyson Lowe, associate director of audience development
I don’t feel fully dressed unless I’m wearing fabulous lingerie. Every sales season I sweep the Agent Provocateur site, and pick up a divine matching set (or two). The classic Lorna bra is the perfect place to start. I’ve also long been a fan of the JS Health Hair + Energy supplements, but a few months ago I added their Mood + Emotional Balance tablets to my morning line-up. I am noticeably less jittery in the days before my period, and sleep better too.
Jessica Diner, beauty & lifestyle director
I already have the Brilly bucket bag from Giarité, but there is something about the slimline rectangular Rio version that has been calling my name ever since it launched. There is 20 per cent off the Giarite site at the moment, so it seemed like the perfect excuse to make the purchase — you can never have enough sparkle in your wardrobe.
Kerry McDermott, digital director
There are some lovely (and timeless) pieces discounted in the Otiumberg archive sale right now. I treated myself to the Twisted Thread Ring in gold, and got an additional 15 per cent off with the brand’s Cyber Monday discount. Merry early Christmas to me!
Laura Ingham, deputy director, global fashion network
A perfectly-cut trouser suit: minimal, slightly oversized and in the chicest shade of charcoal. This Frankie Shop blazer and high-waisted, wide leg pants are already in my shopping basket.
Lauren Murdoch Smith, senior beauty and wellness editor
I’m looking to replace and expand my cashmere collection, as sadly some items in my wardrobe have been damaged by moths. I love the casual style of the Extreme Cashmere No 183 Be Loved cashmere-blend sweater from Net-a-Porter. I’ll be wearing it with denim, tailored trousers and loungewear on Boxing Day. If I'm feeling very generous to myself, I might invest in the Samsung Bespoke AirDresser, which basically acts as an at-home dry cleaning system. It steams, sanitises and refreshes clothes and bedding - perfect for my silk shirts that have been waiting to be taken to the dry cleaners for well over a year!
Laura Hawkins, fashion features editor
I’m not a particularly spontaneous shopper – I usually pour over a piece for months before taking the plunge – and have a roster of brands I continue to revert back to. Case in point: Junya Watanabe. I have enough of the Japanese label’s Fair Isle knits, patchwork denim and oversized shirts to know my exact size when online shopping, something even more essential when buying during the blink-and-you’ve-missed-it sale season. These jeans, created in collaboration with Levi’s, and discounted in Net-a-porter’s Cyber Monday sale, will add perfectly to my jeans pile, their boyfriend fit and cropped silhouette eternally classic, and their white turn ups distinctly Junya. The perfect shoe to spruce them up with in time for party season? Paris Texas’s crystal-swathed mules. Nothing says girl out on the town more than worn denim and sparkling shoes.
