5 of the most expensive properties for sale right now in the Lehigh Valley (and the coolest thing about each one)

For those who like to daydream or have cash to burn, we scoped out some of the most expensive properties on the market in Northampton and Lehigh counties.

The most expensive home for sale on our list -- $3.5 million -- is more than 20 times the price of the median home in Pennsylvania, which is $173,300, according to Zillow. We also tell you what's our favorite thing about each property.

Here are five of the most expensive homes in the Lehigh Valley, according to Trulia.

5. 541 Apollo Drive, Bethlehem ($1.6 million)

The five-bedroom, five-bathroom architectural Georgian was built in (or close to) 1918.

The property has been placed on the market for the first time in 30 years. It sits on nearly five acres.

The home includes original Moravian tiles and sunlit rooms lined with silk wallpaper. Windows are framed in timeless fabrics. There's artisan-crafted millwork and moldings and individually crafted fireplaces with gas inserts in the living room, dining room and sun room.

There's a large kitchen complete with a breakfast nook and access to another side staircase. Upstairs, the master suite has a fireplace. There's space for an office and there are many large bathrooms.

3. 4630 Grubers Road, Weisenberg Township ($2.7 million)

The four-bedroom, five-and-a-half-bathroom home sits on nearly 50 acres.

The first level includes the master suite, complete with a large bathroom with a Jacuzzi-style tub. There are formal living and dining spaces as well as three fireplaces. The lower level can be used as a full in-law suite and has a bar and a gym which opens to a fully-appointed outdoor kitchen.

Outdoors, there is a saltwater in-ground pool, paver patio with a fire pit and a basketball court. One of the sitting areas has an outdoor kitchen. A pair of second floor terraces overlook the grounds.
