ShopRite Announces Annual Fundraiser To Support Make-A-Wish
Make-A-Wish Hudson Valley has granted more than 2,900 wishes for children in the Hudson Valley region.
BEDFORD, NY — The annual fundraising campaign to benefit Make-A-Wish Hudson Valley has returned to area ShopRite stores. Twenty-six ShopRite stores throughout the Hudson Valley will collect donations at checkout from June 20.
The funds raised will support Make-A-Wish Hudson Valley and its mission to ensure that every child who qualifies is granted his or her wish.
Since its inception in 1986, Make-A-Wish Hudson Valley has granted more than 2,900 wishes for children in the Hudson Valley region. To date, ShopRite Supermarkets, Inc. has raised over $345,100 for the organization.

Brett Wing, president of ShopRite Supermarkets, Inc. said the organization and its mission are near and dear to the company's heart because it impacts the lives of local children in our communities.
"We take great pride in the tremendous efforts made by our generous customers and associates in order to provide Make-A-Wish Hudson Valley with ongoing support to grant life-changing wishes,” he said.

Participating ShopRite stores include Fishkill, Lagrangeville and Poughkeepsie in Dutchess County; Chester, Dolson Ave. and Wallkill in Middletown, Monroe, Montgomery, Newburgh, Vails Gate and Warwick in Orange County; Carmel in Putnam County; Liberty and Monticello in Sullivan County; Ellenville, Kingston and New Paltz in Ulster County; and Bedford, Cortlandt, Croton, New Rochelle, Scarsdale, Thornwood, Greenway Plaza and Tuckahoe Road in Yonkers and White Plains in Westchester County.
