1-Year-Old Georgia Girl Abducted, Believed to Be in 'Extreme Danger': Police

The search is on in Georgia for a 1-year-old girl who police say is likely in “extreme danger,” according to an alert from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

Authorities in Arcade, Georgia, confirm that Baylee Sue Peeples was reported missing from Jefferson, Georgia, early Thursday morning.

She turns 2 next month, according to officials.

Baylee was discovered missing shortly before 2 a.m.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has been called in to assist in the search.

The GBI issued a Levi’s Call — the equivalent of an AMBER alert — for Baylee Thursday.

Police believe she is allegedly in the custody of Robert Joseph Peeples. Investigators have not said if the child and her possible abductor are related.

According to police, the two could be headed for Mississippi.

Authorities believe they could be traveling in a 1993 white GMC Vandura van with Georgia tag RIK1620.

The missing toddler was last seen wearing a pink shirt with hearts, with the words “Always Amazing.”

She also was wearing a pink and black jacket with the word “love” on it.

Baylee has blue eyes and blonde curly hair, stands 3 feet tall and weighs 25 lbs.
