PITTSBURGH -- James Harrison will have not played in more than half the Steelers' games this season after Sunday.

He was listed as out on the team's Friday status report. Harrison (back) hasn't practiced all week.

Mike Mitchell (achilles) has no game status on the report, which is the best designation a listed player can receive. The starting free safety was limited in practice on Wednesday and Thursday before participating fully on Friday.

Harrison hasn't played in four of eight games this season. He's played a total of 29 snaps, many of which came in Pittsburgh's Week 6 win against the then-undefeated Kansas City Chiefs.

The 39 year old recorded a late game-sealing sack in Kansas City, did play sparingly against the Cincinnati Bengals the following week before being active but not played in Detroit.

Pittsburgh is set to dress T.J. Watt and Dupree - the starters - with Anthony Chickillo and Arthur Moats backing them up in Sunday's 1 p.m. road kickoff against the Indianapolis Colts.
