PUTNAM COUNTY, NY — As Putnam residents begin to go back to work, County Executive MaryEllen Odell said she has heard concerns about the availability of child care. The Hudson region goes into Phase 2 on Tuesday.

Several day care centers and family day care providers are open and slots are available, Odell said. She advises parents seeking child care for their children as they go back to work to contact the Dutchess/Putnam Child Care Council Inc.

The number of new COVID-19 hospitalizations per 100,000 residents in the Hudson Valley continues to decline.
