ZZ Top Set To Perform At New Lenox Triple Play

NEW LENOX, IL — ZZ Top has been confirmed as one of the performers for this year's Triple Play concert series in New Lenox. The rest of the line-up has not been announced, but ZZ Top posted the event on its website.

The group will perform in New Lenox July 3. Tickets are restricted to New Lenox residents.

Mayor Tim Baldermann confirmed the news at the Feb. 10 village board meeting.

"We're working on a couple of other ones," he added.

Last year's line-up included: Cheap Trick, Joan Jett and The Blackhearts, Blue Öyster Cult, and Kenny Loggins. The concert series first started in 2009.
