DC Makes Decision On Monday School Schedule
With icy roads expected Monday morning, local schools have made a decision on the school schedule tomorrow.
WASHINGTON, DC -- D.C. school officials have decided to open two hours late on Monday over concerns about dangerous road conditions due to ice.
D.C. Public Schools tweeted Sunday evening that all schools in the District will open a two-hour delay, although the government will open on time. DCPS employees are on a Yellow operating status.
Schools in the D.C. region (but not D.C. schools) were delayed twice in late January due to snow and cold.
