Abbie Chatfield has slammed Justin Timberlake's world famous hit, I'm Lovin' It.

The 27-year-old brutally took down the US singer's 2003 release during her Hot Nights with Abbie Chatfield LiSTNR podcast.

She dismissed the song as simply a 'McDonald's jingle' after a producer used it to introduce a segment during her show on Wednesday night.

At first, The Masked Singer judge told co-host Rohan Edwards she didn't recognise the bestselling tune.

'I'm sorry what was that?' she asked during the segment.

Rohan then joined in on mocking the song, which was once used as a jingle in advertisements for the fast food giant McDonald's.

After her producer confirmed that the song was Timberlake's, Abbie apologised  to the singer - only to take another dig at him seconds later.

Abbie made reference to the messy break-up between Justin and pop star Britney Spears after they dated for three years.

'Actually I'm not going to apologise to Justin Timberlake,' the TV star said.

'But that's a whole other conversation.'

Justin reputedly accepted US$6million (AU$8.6milllion in 2022) to record the song which was a top twenty hit throughout Europe, including The Netherlands and Greece.

Meanwhile, Abbie has been riding the wave of success since starring on The Bachelor in 2019.
