Let's be real though, Peta would probably still look amazing even if she wasn't flexing for the camera.

After taking two seasons off following the birth of their son, Shai, Peta got back into fitness by doing a mix of cardio and strength training.“I’ve been doing boxing, I’ve been going to the gym, I’ve had my personal trainer,” she told Us Weekly in August. “I’ve been doing my part in keeping healthy.”

While filming DWTS, the ballroom pro works with her celebrity partner doing four to six hours of dancing per day. "You just don’t get that type of cardio anywhere else," she said, "so it’s always a bit of a shock."

Last year, while she and Maks were on tour (along with his brother Val Chmerkovskiy), Peta said she would take hot yoga, boxing, and Pilates classes in the cities where the tour stopped. The goal, she told People, was to not let her muscles get bored.

Love DWTS? You probably didn't know these 14 things about the show:

During the first few weeks of tour, she lost a lot of weight because she danced for 12 hours a day. “Toward the middle of the tour, I stopped losing weight and I kind of plateaued which is a good thing because you don’t want to get too skin and bones out there," she said. "I figured out that for my body, I need to keep maintaining my strength and endurance. I have to trick my body into doing different types of cardio now so my muscles never get bored because now they’re so used to doing the show.”
