Ford Motor Co. Chief Executive Officer Jim Hackett’s compensation slipped 2.2% in 2019, a year he summed up as “simply not nearly good enough.”

Hackett received $17.4 million in total compensation, down from $17.8 million in 2018, according to a filing Friday. His annual pay was 157 times the $110,706 earned by the company’s median worker.
