First, they came for children in Sanctuary City, Berkley, Calif., and we did not protest — because we had no such children there.
Then, they came for children spending days in facilities with 24/7 artificial light, no beds, cold cement floors, and only an aluminum blanket for insulation and we did not protest — because we had no such children there.
Then, they came for "Toddlers without diapers … relieving themselves in their pants …." in the Clint, Texas, border station and we did not protest — because we had no such children there.
Then their immigration agents plan to make mass arrests to round up thousands of migrant parents and children in a blitz operation across major U.S. cities, perhaps Rochester, and we do not protest — because we do not know of any such parents and children here.
