This news from “Down Under” has bite.

A Queensland, Australia, woman was bitten by a python when she sat on her toilet in the middle of the night.

“I felt this sharp tap on my bottom along with some pain,” Mary Richards told ABC News.

Richards said she didn’t turn on the light before walking into her dark bathroom, where a snake was resting in her toilet.

After being bitten by the non-venomous constrictor snake — some of which reach 21 feet in length and can weigh up to 165 pounds — Richards shut the toilet lid and called an expert to remove her unwelcome guest.

According to Richards, the snake catcher told her it’s rare that a snake will bite a human, but finding pythons in commodes isn’t uncommon.
