JACKSON, MI -- It was a weekend full of spares and strikes as Jax 60 hosted 28 high school bowling teams for the Mel Wolf Invitational on Jan. 25 and 26.
There was standing room only as family and friends watched bowlers compete for eight qualifying positions. After the qualifying rounds, the top eight teams from both brackets competed in an elimination tournament until one team was left standing.
The winner of the girl’s tournament was Tecumseh High School defeating Mason on Jan. 25.
The Jackson Northwest High School boys team defeated Midland on Jan. 26.
