Nine Inch Nails confirm 2018 European festival slot

The band have announced their first live show of 2018 by confirming the forthcoming festival appearance

Nine Inch Nails have been confirmed to be playing Spain’s Mad Cool Festival 2018.

The Trent Reznor-led band, who most recently released the EP ‘Add Violence’ back in July (the second part of a trilogy of releases), will join the European festival circuit next year to visit the Madrid-based festival in what is their first confirmed live date of 2018.

Mad Cool Festival, which is being held at the new venue of Valdebebas in IFEMA in Madrid, has added Nine Inch Nails to an already impressive-looking line-up, which features Queens of the Stone Age, Depeche Mode and Massive Attack.

Justice, Fleet Foxes and Future Islands have also joined the Mad Cool Festival bill, with many more acts set to be announced over the coming weeks and months.

Mad Cool Festival will run from July 12-14 2018, with ticket details available here. The event will up its capacity to 80,000 for its 2018 edition, with a full seven stages of live music set to be in operation come festival time.

Earlier this month, fans of Nine Inch Nails became convinced that Reznor played a living statue in a recent episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm.

The rumour, which started on Reddit, stems from just three seconds of airtime in which Larry David, his date and her son all visit a shopping mall and walk past a street performer – who many believe was played by the frontman.
