Warm Weather Is Coming To Reston

RESTON, VA -- The chill will mostly be in the air this upcoming week, as you would expect for the end of October. But we're going to get some solidly warm weather in Reston to start November.

The National Weather Service's extended forecast for our area predicts that highs will rise to around 70 degrees on Wednesday and then close to the mid 70s on Thursday, making it positively balmy despite it being the 11th month of the year.

Friday will be similarly warm, albeit less so, with highs in the mid 60s.

The week will be bookended by typical chilly fall weather, however. The highest temps should get on Monday is in the high 50s, and Tuesday won't get above the low 60s. Saturday and Sunday will also see highs in the high 50s.

In addition to the warmth, Thursday most likely will bring some rain that will carry over into Friday. The rest of the week should be relatively dry, with lots of sun.
