Actress Bella Thorne teared up while responding to Whoopi Goldberg condemning her for snapping a series of nude photos of herself privately.

Thorne, 21, slammed Goldberg, 63, for her comments, saying “shame on you” to the TV host in one of several emotional videos posted to her Instagram story Tuesday evening.

The drama was sparked by Thorne’s Saturday Twitter post in which she explained she was sharing photos of herself after a hacker attempted to blackmail her by threatening to release them, writing she had taken her “power back.”

On Monday’s episode of “The View,” Goldberg was critical of taking the photos in the first place. “If you’re famous, I don’t care how old you are,” Goldberg said on the daytime talk show. “You don’t take nude pictures of yourself.”

She continued, “Once you take that picture it goes into the cloud and it’s available to any hacker who wants it, and if you don’t know that in 2019, that this is an issue, I’m sorry.”

In her Tuesday Instagram Story video posts, Thorne said, “Shame on you for putting that public opinion just out there like that for every young girl to think that they’re disgusting for even taking a photo like that.”

In a subsequent video, she said, “Saying if you take a sexy photo, then it basically deserves to get leaked, like don’t be surprised at all and don’t feel sorry for yourself.”

She also wrote that she was supposed to go on “The View” but didn’t “feel like being beaten down by a bunch of older women.”

Goldberg has not publicly responded to Thorne’s comments.
