Video: Milo Yiannopoulos Forced Out of New York City Bar by Patrons Chanting 'Nazi Scum Get Out'

Former Breitbart editor and right-wing agitator Milo Yiannopoulos claimed he was "forced out" of a New York City bar on Sunday after being "shoved and screamed at" by a large crowd.

Videos posted on social media showed people chanting "Nazi scum get out" at Yiannopoulos and an acquaintance standing by the bar before cheering as they left the establishment.

Gizmodo reporter Brendan O'Connor wrote on Twitter that Yiannopoulos had walked into a bar full of members of the Democratic Socialists of America's (DSA) New York City chapter, where he was "heckled for five minutes" before leaving.

Co-chair of the Bronx DSA and editor at The Nation, Annie Shields, wrote that the group paid for Yiannopoulos' beer "so he could go asap" before singing Solidarity Forever after he left.

On his Facebook page, Yiannopoulos wrote that he was "blocked" from his table and "it was about to escalate into something ugly." He said in the post that it "rattled me a little bit (just slightly!)" and added that the "staff were really understanding and cool about it."

"But jeez. It's now impossible for me to safely go out for lunch in most major cities in America because I supported Trump at the last election and don't like feminism."

Yiannopoulos was an editor at right-wing website Breitbart before accusations of support for pedophilia led to a fall from grace which saw him leave the site and lose a lucrative book deal. He denies the accusations.

After what Twitter called "repeated warnings for similar violations," Yiannopoulos was banned from the social media platform when he was blamed for inciting the racist abuse faced by Leslie Jones after her role in the reboot of Ghostbusters.
