Our gal Ashley Benson is on a bit of a natural hype at the moment, and her latest glimpse behind the smoke and mirrors of glam, hair and makeup comes in the form of her new 'day off' selfie, showing the world how she looks when she's taking some time for self care.
The picture, posted to her Instagram grid, is captioned "D A Y O F F #selfcare", and shows Benson relaxing fresh-faced, sans makeup, brows fluffed and hair pulled back into a bun, secured in place with a towel headband.
Her skin looks goddamn flawless - glowing, with the flush of someone who's just done a face mask (no details yet on which face mask if so, but we'll keep you posted as updates roll in...).
The snap comes after Ashley took to Instagram back in late March to make a divisive statement about the popularity of filler, using a filter that appears to mimic the effect of lip fillers, pouting into the camera with a terrified facial expression. She captioned the image:
"Why does everybody look the same nowadays? Let’s be unique And true to ourselves. This is me using a filter lookin like a blowfish tryna fit in w all the LA girls now."
She's also shared post-workout selfies in the past - perhaps in her own bid to bring a dose of realness to followers' timelines.
