1. The former Cleveland Indians scoreboard is changing at Progressive Field. The new Guardians moniker will be implemented across the stadium starting next season bringing new uniforms, advertising, and signage. The franchise submitted designs for its new scoreboard look on Monday which would allow the team to mount their new nickname to the existing scoreboard. (Cleveland Patch)
2. A funeral mass was held for Cleveland Bishop Anthony Pilla yesterday. The former leader of the Cleveland Catholic Dioceses passed away on Sept. 21 at the age of 88. Initially ordained a priest in Cleveland at age 26, he was installed as the diocese's ninth bishop in 1981 and retired from the episcopacy in 2006. The funeral mass was held in the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist. (WJW FOX 8 News Cleveland)
