$550 Million Powerball Jackpot After No Wednesday Winner
And Mega Millions is up to $445 million.
With no big winner in Wednesday's Powerball drawing, Friday's jackpot is up to a whopping $550 million. And Friday's Mega Millions drawing is up to $445 million after Tuesday's drawing failed to find a jackpot winner.
Mega Millions tickets are $2 each and the next drawing is at 10 p.m. Central on Jan. 5. The odds of winning are roughly one in 259 million.
Powerball plays $2 each, and Illinois residents can buy tickets online at illinoislottery.com, at almost 8,000 retailers in the state or by using the free Illinois Lottery's mobile app. The overall odds of winning the jackpot are one in 292,201,338, the Illinois Lottery reports. Drawings are at 10 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays.
