Prince Charles, William ‘incandescent with rage’ over Harry and Meghan exit

Prince Charles and Prince William were “incandescent with rage” and the Queen “deeply upset” at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s shocking announcement that they plan to quit the royal family — which Harry’s father and brother only found out about from watching the TV news, according to reports.

“This is a declaration of war on the family,” a senior source told the Sun of Wednesday’s historic “Megxit” announcement by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

“Their statement was not cleared with anyone. It breaks all protocol.

“There is fury over how they’ve done this without any thought for the implications for the institution. The Queen is deeply upset. The Prince of Wales and Duke of Cambridge are incandescent with rage.”

The source claimed that “Harry and Meghan wanted it their way or the highway.”

“So they’ve gone and exiled themselves from the Royal Family. It’s extraordinary,” the source told the paper’s Dan Wootton, who broke the news of the planned move before the official announcement.

Adding to the insult, senior royals only learned about the Sussexes’ decision when it broke on TV news, according to the Daily Mail.

“It’s deeply unfair to the Queen, who doesn’t deserve to be treated this way,” a royal source told the paper.

“It is a shoddy way to treat her. The family understands that they want to do something different and is perfectly willing to help them. People are just devastated.”

A source confirmed to the UK paper that the royals were “shocked, saddened and downright furious” at the couple.
