She only married Prince Harry three days ago, but Meghan Markle is clearly already a part of the royal family. The new Duchess of Sussex appeared alongside her new husband, father-in-law Prince Charles, and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall at the Prince of Wales' 70th Birthday Patronage Celebration at Buckingham Palace today — and she obviously fit right in with the rest of the clan.

The newlywed was caught giggling with her mother-in-law after a bumblebee flew into Prince Harry's face while he made remarks on stage. "Sorry, that that bee really got me," he joked after pausing his speech.

The cute moment between the Duchess of Cornwall and her daughter-in-law quickly caught the eye of people on social media.

For her first public appearance as an HRH today, Meghan wore a bespoke hat from go-to royal milliner Philip Treacy that matched her silk-crepe pencil dress from GOAT. (That's one of the Duchess of Cambridge's favorite brands, too!) She also had on Idylle La Rose earrings from Vanessa Tugendhaft— perfect for a sunny spring garden party.

The soiree celebrated the Prince of Wales' patronages, favorite charities, and military affiliations and also honored some of the first responders from the Manchester Arena bombing. Prince Charles's actual birthday is November 14, but the palace has been known to plan celebrations around the weather. The Queen herself always celebrates her official birthday on a Saturday in June even though she was born on April 21, 1926.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex purposefully delayed their honeymoon in order to attend today's festivities. They plan to jet off to an undisclosed location later on, just like Prince William and Kate Middleton. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge also waited two weeks after their 2011 wedding before leaving for a remote island in Seychelles.
