Roswell July 4th Fireworks, Barbecue: 2018 Guide

The city will host two popular events: BBQ & Bluegrass Celebration and the 19th Annual Roswell Fireworks Extravaganza.

ROSWELL, GA — The city of Roswell will once again celebrate American independence this year with two of its popular events. The fourth annual BBQ & Bluegrass Celebration at Barrington Hall will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 4 while the annual July 4th Fireworks Extravaganza will begin at 5:30 p.m. at Roswell High School.

Barbecue and bluegrass music will make its annual appearance in the backyard of Barrington Hall at 535 Barrington Drive. The tradition originates with the King family, which held Fourth of July barbecues for friends and neighbors during the 1800s.

The tradition, which was revived in 2015, will include live music, barbecue, beer, soft drinks and desserts for sale. A children's area will keep the youngsters occupied with games and crafts. Admission is free, and there will be vendors with food and drink available for purchase.
