Residents in the Dufferin neighbourhood may have woken up to the smell of smoke Tuesday.
Fire crews were called to a blaze in the 700 block of Selkirk Avenue, just after 4 a.m.
Fire crews said people inside of the house were able to self-evacuate.
Residents said the fire appeared to be coming from the back of the house.
