George Floyd anniversary
Tuesday was the first anniversary of the murder of George Floyd. It brought back painful memories for Stuart Lawrence, whose brother Stephen was murdered in a racist killing in London in 1993. Phil's fight
Phil Newby, 50, is a father of two from Rutland. He was diagnosed with motor neurone disease when he was 43. This week a new bill on assisted dying was tabled in the House of Lords, paving the way for a debate in parliament on the issue. Privacy trailblazer or enemy of the press?
Max Mosley died this week. "Enemy of the free press", was the Sun newspaper's caustic description of the former Formula 1 boss. Other UK tabloids also pulled no punches. It's a testament of the 81-year-old's impact on the red tops and his legacy outside of the world of motorsport; to many, he will be remembered as the man who took on the News Of The World and won.
