Trump, Biden supporters brawl in Michigan after election announcement

Tensions were running high among protesters in Michigan’s capital in the wake of Saturday’s announcement that Joe Biden had won the presidency.

Wild video shows a brawl breaking out at the “Stop the Steal” rally in Lansing — with one man attacking two others by using what appears to be a Trump-Pence campaign flag as a weapon.

“Break it up … get the f–k back,” onlookers said as the men wrestled on the sidewalk, at one point colliding with a parked car.

Police at the scene separated groups of opposing demonstrators, by relegating Trump supporters to one side of the street and Black Lives Matter protesters to the other, according to footage posted Saturday by reporter Brendan Gutenschwager.

“Go home!” the Biden backers chanted.

“Get the f–k out of here! You guys will see!” an angry Trump supporter yelled back.

Michigan’s Republican-led state legislature was expected on Saturday to hold a joint hearing to weigh GOP claims of computer vote-counting glitches in two counties. Biden holds a substantial 2.5 percent lead over Trump in the state, with 95 percent of the vote counted.
