Some residents of Berkshire towns enjoyed a light dusty of snow over the weekend after weather predictions confirmed sleet for Saturday and Sunday.
But can we expect snow again this week for Reading, Bracknell, and Slough? Here’s the latest weather update to see if we’re still homing in on a white Christmas.
Reading
According to BBC Weather, Reading may actually enjoy warmer weather this week.
At the moment we are looking at highs of around 10 degrees and lows of zero. Rain is predicted for most days this week bar Wednesday which is pre-empted to be “misty.”
Sadly, as the temperature is unlikely to dip below freezing, as it stands Reading does not look like it will see snow this week. Sorry!
Bracknell
The weather forecast for Bracknell, like Reading, is also stating that it will be significantly wetter than the previously week.
Monday through to Sunday we are predicted to see consistent periods of rainfall, other than predictions for fog on Wednesday.
On both Tuesday and Friday, we are expected to see some sunshine during midday to around 3 pm, and the temperature is looking like highs of 10 with lows of zero.
Again, it is currently looking unlikely that Bracknell will see snow this week as the weather is too warm.
Slough
Slough residents will also experience a warmer week than what we have seen previously, with highs of 10 and lows of zero.
Wednesday is also predicted to be foggy, and Friday will see light rain showers with some sunny spells – so expect a few rainbows!
Sadly, however, not much chance of snow. Maybe next week, eh?
