Where Vets & Military Can Eat Free On Veterans Day 2019

CALIFORNIA — Several restaurants throughout the Golden State are stepping up again this year to salute retired and active-duty military with free meals and offers on Veterans Day 2019, Monday, Nov. 11.

Among the deals are such freebies as Grand Slams from Denny's, steak dinners from Black Angus or Sizzler, Wienerschnitzel chili dogs, CPK pizzas or pasta, entrees from Rubio's, Applebee's or Olive Garden, free TCBY or Menchie's frozen yogurt and more. Proof of service or military ID generally are required for the specials, and peruse the details as restrictions may apply.

APPLEBEE'S: On Veterans Day, vets and active duty can select for free one of seven entrées from an exclusive menu. Dine-in-only with proof of military service, and only at participating locations. Confirm participation with your neighborhood Applebee's.

BLACK ANGUS: An "All American Steak Plate" will be available for $9.99. to veterans and military, with proof of service, dining in Nov. 11. The meal includes an 8-ounce sirloin steak, mashed potatoes, broccoli with garlic butter and a non-alcoholic beverage. Find an eatery near you.

CHILI'S: Veterans and active-duty military get a free entree on Veterans Day. Choose from a special Veterans Day menu with seven choices.

DENNY'S: On Nov. 11 from 5 a.m. to 12 p.m., active, retired and military personnel, with valid ID or DD 214, can enjoy a complimentary "Build Your Own Grand Slam" — four items chosen from such selections as pancakes, eggs, bacon, buttermilk biscuits, hash browns and oatmeal. FARMER BOYS: On Nov. 11, all Farmer Boys location will offer vets and active duty military one free Big Cheese Cheeseburger.
