2017 Christmas Movies: What's On Netflix, Amazon, TV In Illinois

Now that the Thanksgiving leftovers are packed away, networks are announcing their holiday specials, from the National Christmas Tree lighting and Christmas at Rockefeller Center to specials by Gwen Stefani and Bruno Mars. Patch found the dates and times for you to catch your favorites in the coming weeks, and we'll keep updating as more are announced.

This year's holiday TV lineup runs the gamut from Bing Crosby and Jimmy Stewart on Turner Movie Classics to countless showings of Will Ferrell as everyone’s favorite elf and Chevy Chase as he doggedly tries to give his family a merry Christmas and the best light display ever. And two besties will host a national New Year's Eve party for the first time this year.

Park At Wrigley Hosts Skating, Tree Lighting, Christkindlmarket

Throughout the Thanksgiving weekend, "Gilmore Girls" fans should head to UP TV for its GilMORE the Merrier binge-a-thon hosted by Yanic Truesdale as his snarky character, Michel Gerard. The marathon features all seven seasons of the series around the clock for 153 hours straight, beginning at 9 a.m. Monday, Nov. 20, and concluding at 6 p.m. ET Sunday, Nov. 26.

The annual lineup of holiday classics run from "Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer," "A Charlie Brown Christmas," and "Frosty's Winter Wonderland" to Elf,” “Christmas Vacation” "A Christmas Story" (plus the brand-new "Christmas Story Live!") and the heartwarming oldie “It’s A Wonderful Life.”

15 Amazon Holiday Movies To Stream

Amazon has holiday films galore to stream, so Pop Sugar has picked the 15 best that come included with your Amazon Prime membership. They range from Miracle on 34th Street and Scrooged to Jingle Hell.
