[UPDATE] Slice 16 voting has officially closed and the following Chicago area pizza places have advanced to our Elite 8 round, which we refer to as the “Elite Eats.”

City Region Slice 16: Matchup 1 Winner – Pequod’s over Paulie Gee’s with 75% of 3,587 votes

City Region Slice 16: Matchup 2 Winner – Vito & Nick’s over Pat’s with 69% of 3,464 votes

North Suburbs Region: Slice 16 Matchup 1 Winner – Georgio’s over Bill’s with 5,353 votes

North Suburbs Region: Slice 16 Matchup 2 Winner – Uncle Jerry’s over Nick’s with 55% of 4,338 votes

Local Chain Region: Slice 16 Matchup 1 Winner – Lou Malnati’s over Giordano’s with 66% of 4,520 votes

Local Chain Region: Slice 16 Matchup 2 Winner – Antioch Pizza over Home Run Inn with 64% of 5,325 votes

South & West Suburbs Region: Slice 16 Matchup 1 Winner – Bartolini’s over Connie’s with 51% of 4,882 votes

South & West Suburbs Region: Slice 16 Matchup 2 Winner – Gianorio’s over Pizza Nova with 50.3% of 3,389 votes
