Scout Willis explains why Demi Moore, Bruce Willis are quarantining together

Scout Willis has revealed what led Demi Moore and Bruce Willis to quarantine together in Idaho with their children while Willis’ wife, Emma Heming, has remained in Los Angeles.

“My stepmom was going to come up here, too, with my little sisters,” Scout, 28, explained during a recent episode of the “Dopey” podcast. “[But] my younger sister, who is now actually 7 years old … had never gotten a talk about not f–king with hypodermic needles that she found [at a park], so she actually tried to poke her shoe with it and poked her foot.”

“So my stepmom had to be in L.A. waiting to, like, get the results for taking her to the doctor,” Scout noted, “so my dad came up here early and then travel got crazy so my stepmom stayed in L.A. with my little sisters.”

Though Heming isn’t physically with her husband, she’s been commenting on his Instagram photos.

“[L]ove and miss you guys,” she wrote in reaction to one post, and, “Looking good squad.”

Moore, 57, and the “Die Hard” star, 65, raised their daughters, Tallulah, Scout and Rumer, in Hailey, Idaho, to shelter them from the spotlight of L.A. Returning there together, Scout pointed out, has provided an element of nostalgia.

“It’s been really funny having both my parents at the house where they like raised us,” Scout added, “which has been really cute.”

Though spending every day together can feel taxing, Scout said it’s a blessing to have the quality time with her parents and siblings.

“It’s kind of divine timing to getting this much time to hang out with them,” she gushed. “I’m very grateful to be with my family.”

Scout also revealed that her entire immediate family — 26-year-old sister Tallulah, Bruce, Demi and Rumer — are all sober now.

“At a certain point I just started realizing how grateful I was for that,” she shared. “We all know how to communicate so well now because of that. I’m in a good place to deal with any emotional intensity that comes up with people.”
