Car Pinned Under Tractor-Trailer Truck In Nashua

A vehicle collided with a Fedex tractor-trailer in Nashua leaving the elderly driver pinned in the vehicle Tuesday.

NASHUA, NH — At 11:07 a.m. Tuesday, Nashua Fire Rescue, AMR, and Nashua police responded to the area of Trafalagar Square for a car pinned under a tractor trailer.

Nashua firefighters found one elderly passenger out of the vehicle and a 92-year-old female driver pinned in the vehicle. The vehicle was under the back of a Fedex tractor trailer. Nashua firefighters used jaws of life worked to free the driver, and a trauma alert was activated at Southern NH Medical Center.

After approximately 20 minutes, the woman was extricated from the vehicle and taken to the hospital. The passenger was walking but was transferred to a stretcher and transported to the hospital by AMR.
