The infamous 'Bagel Boss' guy has suffered a stroke and is now unable to move one side of his body.

Chris Morgan – who was filmed in a viral video in July yelling and ranting at customers inside at a Bagel Boss shop in Long Island - fell ill outside a deli in the same New York area on Wednesday.

Video footage shows the moments after the 45-year-old was hospitalized and a Twitter post includes close-up images of Morgan recovering in bed.

The clip shows the 5ft-tall man in a hospital robe hooked up to tubes and ventilator.

In the shots filmed as the amateur videographer walks toward him, one leg is straight and exposed while the other appears bent underneath the covering.

Morgan seems not to be alert and is slumped as he rests in the care of doctors.

'He currently has no feeling on one side and won't open his eyes,' his manager Bill Shannon wrote on a GoFundMe page. 'He acknowledged verbal correspondence upon my arrival.'

Shannon told TMZ Morgan has lost feeling on the left side of his body but was able to raise his right arm in response to him entering the room. Morgan has diabetes but it's unclear if it was connected to the stroke.

He said that Morgan lives in a minivan that stays parked outside the place where the medical incident occurred.

Shannon has since been able to get Morgan's family to see him at the Southside Hospital where he is resting.

'I went in there and I said "hello" to him,' Shannon told the New York Post. 'I said "I’m sorry this happened" to him.'

Shannon appealed for help to raise $10,000 for medical costs in the crowdfunding page created on the same night Morgan was admitted.

'Chris Morgan has suffered a stroke,' Shannon wrote. 'Any monetary assistance provided will be put toward helping Chris in his recovery.'

By 3.30am Thursday the page had raised $255.

'I told him I have a boyfriend, but Chris kept saying "You could do so much better." He kept telling me how famous he was and asked me "How does it feel finally meeting me in person?",' Sarah Russi told Page Six last Monday.

'Chris then kept texting me, but I didn’t respond. Then on Tuesday, he sent me this picture with his shirt off. I was like "What the hell? Does he really think I’ll be turned on and text him back? He doesn’t exactly look that sexy".'

Russi said about Morgan, who she has featured with on a podcast: 'He had a lot to learn about women'.

Morgan went viral after being captured ranting at customers inside at the Bagel Boss shop in Long Island.

He shouted at strangers who he believed were making fun of his height and how women were not attracted to him.

Then in August, he was seen on video being handcuffed by police officers for swinging a small bat at people.

In October, Morgan said he was molested by a neighbor when he was 12 and blamed it for his problems with weed and women

He was then taken to a hospital where he underwent a psych evaluation.

His short temper has since carried a long way, as Morgan was scheduled to box against Mets legend Dykstra in Atlantic City in September. That month he was busted for marijuana possession.

But in October he claimed his temper comes from being molested as a child by a 16-year-old neighbor.

'I was molested when I was 12 by a neighbor,' Morgan said on the AftershockXL podcast. 'I buried it. I just kind of forgot about it and one day it just hit me like a ton of bricks.'

The Post reported he said he has a $30-a-day pot habit because of the trauma and also blames it for his problems with women, adding, it's 'the culprit — the beginning of it all, without a doubt'.
