She marked her return to single life with ultra-long mermaid hair (care of some subtle extensions) back in August, but for her flirty new phase, Emily Ratajkowski has adopted some excellent curtain bangs. Perfect to lend just the right amount of mystique for parties, dates and the rest.
Ratajkowski’s new bangs were out in full force at a Swarovski event in New York on Monday. Ultra glossy and cut to accentuate her big brown eyes and high cheekbones, the model paired them with lots of layers. They looked totally effortless, adding just a little je ne sais quoi to her look, especially when combined with a sheer black dress and minimal make-up.
It’s not the first time she’s ventured out with her new fringe. Ratajkowski has made them the focal point of her beauty look at a series of events recently. At a party to celebrate beauty brand Code 8 launching in the US, she partied with Alexa Chung with her hair up in a loose chignon, her bangs left out at the front to undone effect.
As we all know, getting a haircut is always a good way to shed both emotional and physical dead weight… so if you too are in the process of reinventing yourself after a tough time, why not take a leaf out of Emily’s book, and experiment with a fringe?
