BC Ferries is cancelling its final sailings of the evening Monday due to the snowfall expected to hit the region.
The following sailings are cancelled:
Tsawwassen to Swartz Bay – 7 p.m. departing in both directions and 9 p.m. departing in both directions.
Tsawwassen to Duke Point – 8:15 p.m. departing in both directions and 10:45 p.m. departing in both directions.
Horseshoe Bay to Departure Bay – 8:45 p.m. departing in both directions and 10:05 p.m. departing in both directions.
Horseshoe Bay to Langdale – 9:35 p.m. departing Langdale and 10:55 p.m. departing Horseshoe Bay.
Horseshoe Bay to Sung Cove – 10 p.m. departing Horseshoe Bay and 10:30 p.m. departing Sung Cove.
Reserved customers will be notified and will have their reservation fees automatically refunded.
BC Ferries says service is expected to resume Tuesday morning.
Transit was experiencing some delays Monday due to the snowfall that hit the Metro Vancouver region.
Passengers were recording hours of waiting time to get on to SkyTrain platforms and on trains Monday morning.

Environment Canada has issued a new snowfall warning for the South Coast.
Global News meteorologist Mark Madryga says the next round begins Monday afternoon and evening.
“We have a nice break between the major snowstorm of yesterday, last night, and another one coming,” Madryga said on Monday.

“The one coming later today and tonight won’t be quite as intense, but watch out,” he said on Monday.
The snow is expected to hit the Greater Victoria area early in the afternoon and then Metro Vancouver between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.
