‘Syria emboldened Russia’

The people of Syria know what it’s like to be on the receiving end of Russia’s military might. Russia has carried out bombings on hospitals, schools and markets in Syria, in an effort to keep Bashar al-Assad in power. Some Syrians argue Russia was emboldened by the international community’s inaction. The World’s Shirin Jaafari reports.
