Flash flooding issues are also a big concern for the region.
Tonight, not a lot changes with the forecast. Additional storm development is expected on a scattered base while keeping rain chances alive. Lows are warm once again as thermometers dip into the low 70s.
The rinse and repeat of a forecast rolls on late week as a cold front finally approaches from our west/northwest. This will help sweep this stalled boundary out of the region while bringing just a little dry time late day Friday and into the weekend.
Due to the storm chances, conditions remain muggy with highs below normal late week. Temperatures will be hard-pressed to hit the low 80s both Thursday and Friday afternoon.
By the start of the weekend, conditions briefly dry out as the humidity drops to a more comfortable level. Enjoy it while you can, humidity increases by Sunday as our next system works into town. Showers and storms ramp back up later Sunday with more rain chances hanging around into next mid-week.
