Trump renews call to probe Clinton, DNC: ‘Investigate the investigators’

President Trump set the stage for the possible release of special counsel Robert Mueller’s report this week by repeating the findings of Attorney General William Barr’s summary and suggested, “INVESTIGATE THE INVESTIGATORS!”

“Mueller, and the A.G. based on Mueller findings (and great intelligence), have already ruled No Collusion, No Obstruction,” the president tweeted Monday. “These were crimes committed by Crooked Hillary, the DNC, Dirty Cops and others! INVESTIGATE THE INVESTIGATORS!”

Mueller released the report on his nearly two year investigation into Russian meddling during the 2016 presidential election on March 22.

Two days later, Barr released a four-page summary of the “key findings.”

The attorney general said Mueller did not find evidence of a criminal conspiracy between Trump and Moscow but did not reach a conclusion on whether the president obstructed justice.

In the synopsis, Barr wrote that he and deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein examined the evidence and determined that they would not be able to make a case for obstruction.

Democrats have demanded Barr release the entire nearly 400-page report and the underlying evidence that Mueller and Barr used to make their conclusions.

Barr, testifying to House and Senate panels last week, said he planned to send a redacted report to Congress this week.
