(KLFY) Funeral services have been announced for former Louisiana Gov. Edwin Edwards.
According to state officials, Edwin Edwards will lie in state at the State Capitol on Saturday, July 17.
Public viewing will be available from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m.
A private funeral services will be Sunday, July 18, at noon in Louisiana’s Old State Capitol.
Edwards, Louisiana’s longest serving Governor, died Monday at home surrounded by family.
He was 93-years-old.
