Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) spoke with Breitbart News Daily SiriusXM host Raheem Kassam on Wednesday regarding the House GOP’s tax plan, Mueller’s special counsel investigation, former House Speaker John Boehner’s calling him a “legislative terrorist” in a Politico article, and the Uranium One scandal.

Jordan said, “Six or seven years ago when the FBI and the Justice Department were investigating things around this Uranium One deal, they talked about extortion and bribery and kickbacks and different things they were investigating. They didn’t tell anyone about these things that were going on. And someone actually got indicted.”

He continued, “They didn’t tell the Congress, they didn’t tell the country, and, most importantly, it looks like they didn’t even tell the agencies in the federal government, in the executive branch, who were charged with making the decision. They didn’t let them know about it. And so the Uranium One purchase moved forward without information being given to the respective agencies who were assigned to make that decision.”

He also pointed out that Robert Mueller at the FBI and Rod Rosenstein at the Justice Department were overseeing events at the time. “Now, that, I think, warrants investigation,” said Jordan, adding, “That’s why last week, you saw a number of chairmen say the Judiciary Committee, the Oversight Committee, and the Intelligence Committee are going to look into these issues, and that’s a good thing. I happen to sit on two of those committees, and we’re looking forward to getting to the truth for the American people.”

Breitbart News Daily airs on SiriusXM Patriot 125 weekdays from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Eastern.
