Jets’ training camp fan guide: Everything you need to know | Open practice dates, how to attend, what to expect, FAQs

Jets training camp began Wednesday, but the team’s first practice will be held Thursday.

Then, come Saturday, fans will get their first of five chances to watch the Jets take the practice field. Four of those opportunities will be open practices in Florham Park, plus the Green and White scrimmage, which is scheduled for Aug. 18 at MetLife Stadium.

Here’s a look at everything you need to know about the Jets’ public training camp schedule, including how to get tickets, where and when to show up, what to bring with you and what you’ll find when you arrive:

Schedule

The Jets will hold four open practices at their Florham Park practice facility. Here are the dates and times for those open sessions:

• Sunday, Aug. 11 at 8:25 a.m.

In addition, the Jets will hold their annual Green and White scrimmage on Aug. 18 at 7 p.m. at MetLife Stadium. This is the rescheduled date. It was originally set to be played on Aug. 2 at Rutgers.

For the Green and White scrimmage, MetLife Stadium gates will open at 6 p.m. There will also be a post-game fireworks show. Tickets for that event can be found here.
