ROSEMOUNT, Ill. — The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks were unable to capitalize on an early lead, dropping a second straight game 5-4 to the Chicago Dogs in American Association baseball Sunday afternoon at Impact Field.
The RedHawks led 2-0 after two innings, but the Dogs (16-10) came back with five runs in the next three innings to take the series.
Leobaldo Pina had three hits for the RedHawks (15-14), including his fourth home run of the season, while Correlle Prime had two runs and two RBIs.
Will Solomon (1-2) got the start for Fargo-Moorhead, allowing five runs off eight hits through five innings pitched.
The RedHawks will return home to start a three game series against the Gary SouthShore RailCats (12-14) at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 18.
