Tiger Woods is in the news again and this time it has nothing to do with him winning a golf tournament.

Last month’s Masters champion is being sued by the parents of a staffer from Tiger’s Florida restaurant -- called The Woods which is run by Woods’ girlfriend Erica Herman -- because he died while driving drunk after being over-served at the restaurant, TMZ reports.

Nicholas Immesberger, 24, is the bartender’s names. His parents said he had battled alcoholism and had known the famed golfer personally.

The suit alleges Immesberger stayed past his shift one December 2018 night, and was served several drinks to the point of “severe intoxication.”

A police said Immesberger lost control of his car on his way home and swerved across three lanes before going airborne and overturning. At the time of the crash, he had blood-alcohol level of .256, more than three times the legal limit.

Woods “was directly responsible for ensuring that his employees and management … were not over serving its employees/customers,” the suit claims.

The 43-year-old Woods, who is preparing to play in the PGA Championship, has not yet commented on the lawsuit. Last week, he received the Presidential Medal of Freedom for his win in The Masters.
