Instead of sending old, unused electronics to landfills, locals have a chance to offload some of them in a more environmentally friendly way in Pasadena this weekend.

On Saturday, Sept. 21, city representatives will be at the Brookside Park in Parking Lot I with a truck and an onsite document shredder. Officials say they’ll be there from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., but may end early if truck space runs out, according to a press release.

If you have any questions about the event, call the city’s Citizen Service Center at 626-744-7311.

Brookside park is at 360 N. Arroyo Blvd, Pasadena.
