What $1M buys you in real estate in each of N.J.'s 21 counties

With a $1 million budget, potential homeowners have options throughout the state. But not every dollar is created equally as you canvass the state.

In many parts of Hudson County, a chunk of that $1 million is going to the perks of living in an urban environment, like its immediacy to Manhattan and its walkability — not the square footage of the actual home. Drive less than 60 miles west to a place like Warren County, and $1 million is enough for nearly 30 acres of land that has two homes on it.

Here's a look at what potential buyers can purchase with $1 million in each of New Jersey’s 21 counties.
