ARLINGTON, VA -- Police arrested a woman on two counts of assault and battery on police and one count of trespassing after they say she attacked officers who tried to get her to leave an Arlington facility.

Police were called to the 1500 block of Columbia Pike at around 12:17 a.m. on March 19 to a report of disorderly conduct, according to a report from the Arlington County Police Department.

"[P]olice were summoned for a female subject who was allegedly disregarding the rules of a program center and refusing to leave," the report states. "The subject refused to comply with the lawful commands of officers to leave the premises and became combative. While attempting to place the subject under arrest for trespassing, she kicked one officer in the chest and struck another in the face."

Police arrested 62-year-old Patricia Davis. She is being held without bond.
