At Erin Foster‘s upcoming wedding to Simon Tikhman, the bride won’t be the only one wearing white.
David Foster’s daughter, 37, is set to tie the knot with the businessman on New Year’s Eve, with her 38-year-old sister Sara serving as maid of honor in an unusual ensemble: a Monique Lhuillier wedding dress, according to People.
However, Sara assured the publication that she won’t be in a veil or train, and has no plans to upstage the bride on her big day. “I’m not that big of a monster,” she said.
Tikhman, 35, proposed in August after a year of dating, and the stress of planning their nuptials in just a few months has clearly gotten to Erin, who jokingly described herself (with Sara’s agreement) as a “Bridezilla.”
“Everything has stopped. Everything has halted,” Sara told the outlet. “Our lives have stopped for this f—ing wedding.”
It remains to be seen what role, if any, David Foster’s new wife Katharine McPhee will play in the ceremony — and what color she’ll wear as mother-in-law of the bride.
